| The main objective of this work is to study some biological aspects of Carcinus aestuarii Northern Sfax (biometry, reproduction, diet), and biochemical contents (water, protein, minerals, and fat). Analysis of metric characteristics of Carcinus aestuarii allowed us to determine the nature of the allometry between the width and différent parts of the body of the crab. For reproduction study, analysis of monthly changes in the gonadosomatic index (GSI) shows that the spawning period of Carcinus aestuarii North Sfax occurs from October to January.
